Jennifer Lawrence Is Taking a Break From Acting

Jennifer Lawrence Says She Is Becoming Less Interested In Motherhood The Older She Gets

But Wednesday night marked the first public display of affection between actress Jennifer Lawrence, 27, and director Darren Aronofsky, 48, two weeks into the promotional tour. Like many stars of her caliber, it seems Lawrence is fed up with her lack of privacy.

But surely no-one wants to see a mother being beaten to a pulp for no good reason or her newborn baby being killed and eaten by a mob.

Hollywood darling Jennifer Lawrence revealed in an interview with Today that after a non-stop workload for the past decade, she's going to take a chill and distance herself from acting for awhile.

When asked what she'd do during the hiatus, the actress answered, "I don't know" with a laugh. "If you can do any of these exercises for 20 minutes at high intensity, you will see results", he said.

The actress also opened up about the drawbacks of fame. The actress says she works out so she doesn't have to restrict her diet. Imagine a film so intense that watching the finished product even scared the star, who plays the lead.

Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream), a longtime a fan, was impressed by her still-sharp skills.

Both Lawrence and Bardem are fine in their roles, with the former ably handling the heavy emotional weight the role requires. "Do you think about taking a break?"

With the movie running like it's in perpetual fast-forward, it's not long before it makes an abrupt time jump from the introduction of Grace and Eli to a mysterious knock on a door from a shy male stranger (Ed Harris) followed by his boisterous, prodding wife (Michelle Pfeiffer). I don't know, start making pots? I thought it would never end; I must have checked my watch 20 times. She is now filming her fourth turn as the shape shifting mutant Mystique in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Lawrence recently signed on to take the starring role of billionaire tech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes in Adam McKay's bio-drama Bad Blood. "She's a very smart woman".
