Jupp Heynckes appointed Bayern Munich boss for a fourth time

Jupp Heynckes

Jupp Heynckes has confirmed that he has returned to Bayern Munich as the club's new manager.

Ancelotti left the club in September while Bayern was third in the Bundesliga.

"The board of FC Bayern Munchen AG and Jupp Heynckes have today reached an agreement until June 30, 2018".

Serving quality football news from around the globe.

Heynckes first managed Bayern between 1987 and 1991, before a short spell as caretaker manager in 2009. "Bayern Munich is very close to my heart".

"It's not a comeback, it's [because of] friendships, and I've only done it because I have a lot to thank Bayern for", Heynckes told Kicker.

Google Home Max with dual stereo speakers announced
The announcement of this device followed the announcement of the Google Home Mini - a miniature version of the Google Home . This year's big tech trends include smart speakers, home security, and of course, smartphones.

Heynckes has enjoyed three previous spells in charge of the club, with his most recent between 2011 and 2013 proving the most fruitful, winning the treble of Bundesliga title, the DFB-Pokal and Champions League in his final season. "I don't want to come back earlier than that but inside I still want to coach every single day, therefore I don't think I would join a national team".

"There is a great bond between Bayern and Jupp. He's the ideal man for FC Bayern at this moment in time".

The 72-year-old veteran manager had on Thursday confirmed to Rheinische Post, a local paper near his home that Bayern president Uli Hoeness and chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have asked him to return. He is not "very much looking forward" to working with the team and getting them back on track for the rest of the season.

Bayern sporting director Salihamidzic added: "Jupp Heynckes is a master in leadership and tactics".

Carlo Ancelotti was removed from his position as head coach of Bayern last week following a disappointing start to the season.
