Marvel's 'Runaways' Trailer: Children Be Good to Your Parents

'Marvel's Runaways' Trailer: Hulu Brings 'Gossip Girl' Flair to the Marvel Universe

Everyone spoke about how important it is to shoot in LA, given how much of the comic depends on that setting. Upon learning the truth of their parents' identities, the teenagers band together to run away (hence the title) from home to atone for their parents' actions and unlock even more hidden secrets. The series is reportedly a part of the MCU, but it is unclear how this will fit in with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe unless they show up in Midtown to chill with Tom Holland's Spider-Man character. Which, if you know the 2003 debuting Marvel comic on which the Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage created is based, is the sometimes bloody, messy and emotionally messed up narrative that fuels Runaways. Another highly-anticipated series coming this year is "Marvel's The Gifted", which is set to air on FOX and set within the X-MEN storylines.

From there the trailer jumps around, but we get a chance to see Karolina manifesting her Majesdanian powers for the first time, Molly's eyes glowing as she charges up her super strength, and Nico coming across an ancient book of spells.
