About LaVar Ball vs Donald Trump

LaVar Ball downplays Donald Trump's role in UCLA freshmen's release

"If he said he helped, that's good for his mind".

It's a problem that the President is tweeting that he should have let LaVar Ball's teenage son, UCLA basketball player LiAngelo, rot in a Chinese prison because his father wasn't "grateful" enough to the President.

Trump said he negotiated with Chinese President Xi Jinping for their release. This should be exponentially true for the president who, if you really stop to think about it, is the ultimate employee - he has over 326 million bosses (the American people, who he is supposed to be working for, not against, whether they appreciate it or not).

Ball responded last week during an interview with ESPN, questioning why Trump was over in China. "What was he over there for?" Ball continued. "Don't tell me nothing". I help somebody get a job.

Recently, YG took some time to point out the way LaVar pretty much ignored the most powerful man in the world.

The players could have faced 10 years in jail, but were eventually released.

If you're wondering who this family of basketball superstars are and want a little more context on the current events, check out the Facebook Watch series, Ball in the Family, which is kind of like Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but with basketball players (you know, not just as husbands and boyfriends).

Ball also said that he doesn't have doubts about what Trump did, but he has "doubts about what he didn't do".

It was really nothing… Spacey dumping ridiculous, says Morrissey
Since Rapp named Spacey (Rapp had previously discussed the incident), multiple men have revealed their "me too" stories . Afterwards, they feel embarrassed or disliked. "You have to put these things in the proper context".

Ball says he'd only thank Trump if the president had done one particular thing.

"If your son would have kept his sticky *ss fingers in his pockets and not take people's stuff in China, we wouldn't even be having this conversation".

"Now, you might dislike what he's done, what he's said and who he is", Sharpe added.

They were released on bail early November 8 and had been staying at a lakeside hotel in Hangzhou prior to flying home.

"Did he help the boys get out? Let him do his political affairs and let me handle my son, and let's just stay in our lane".

Mr Trump tweeted repeatedly about the basketball players in the days following their release, first asking if they would thank him; then tweeting, "You're welcome", when they did.

"Mr. Trump, Mr. Trump, I know you're upset", Colbert said, "but maybe now's not the time to be implying that someone's kid should go to jail for what their dad did". "And LaVar Ball knows there's no better way to troll Trump than by pretending to not know who he is".
