An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing toddler in Onslow County

Mariah Kay Woods is a 3-year-old white female. She is very sweet loving girl. long brown hair, blue eyes.

Woods said Mariah is adored by the community, calling Mariah her "angel" because she became pregnant with her after getting her tubes tied.

Mariah was last seen in the area of Dawson Cabin Road in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

According to broadcast reports, Mariah's mother put her to bed on Sunday evening and contacted authorities at 6 a.m. on Monday when she found that her daughter was missing from her bed.

The girl wears orthopedic braces on her feet to help her walk, WRAL news channel reported.

Police have checked with the girl's biological father, and confirmed he does not have her.

Mariah's mother says she last saw her daughter around 11 p.m. Sunday night. Just to be able to touch her and hold her and not let her go again.

"Please, bring her back ..."

Three-year-old Mariah Woods vanished in the middle of the night from her home in North Carolina. Their search is primarily focused on the land behind the houses where the 3-year-old went missing.

"'I'll do anything that I can, whatever you want", said Woods.

The sheriff's office has announced a reward of $2,500 (£1,800) for information leading to her safe return.

Police have spoken to the couple and searched their vehicle, but have found no sign of the missing girl, the Daily News said.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation held a press conference Tuesday afternoon making a plea to the community to continue searching for this young girl.
