Conte prepared to drop others after Luiz axe

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte sent a strong message to the players

Luiz has generally impressed since returning to Stamford Bridge last summer and helped Chelsea win the Premier League title in May.

Conte meanwhile will be crossing his fingers hoping that his men avoid injury during games with their respective national teams.

That's according to bookies Betway who reckon the Brazilian will be packing his bags.

Andreas Christensen filled in for the player brought back to Stamford Bridge from Paris Saint-Germain on summer transfer window deadline day 2016, and Conte hailed the replacement's performance as awesome.

He also said: 'Christensen is the present and the future for Chelsea'. "I have to make the best decision for the team".

"Maybe in the future I can decide a different way, or continue in this way".

"By the time next season kicks off, I'm sure that either Antonio Conte or David Luiz will have left Chelsea".

Wizards star Wall out vs Raptors with sprained left shoulder
I'm quite convinced Skip Bayless is employed purely to troll and get a rise out of people, no matter how stupid he looks doing it. He stayed in the game but later said he should not have continued playing. "That's one of the best teams to be assembled".

"Chelsea have been in touch a few times and sometimes Paulo Ferreira comes and talks to me and show me some video clips of what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right and asks me how it's going on and off the pitch".

Despite Conte's insistence that the decision was tactical, it is understood the axe came after Luiz questioned the Italian in training last week. It's normal and this can happen to every one of my players. I was very happy for this.

"No. [checks]. I think that I have a squad".

"When you let players get away with things, other players sense that, and then you may have five or six players against you".

The report suggests that the former Paris Saint-Germain ace is concerned that his close association with Costa played a big part in his manager's decision, having attempted to play peacemaker between the two men earlier this year. "I try to do this". The Blues boss only responded with: "It can change".

But while Abramovich is not questioning Conte's handling of the Luiz situation, the latest stand-off has raised concerns of a rift between the manager and his squad.

Luiz posed with his superfan outside the club's Cobham training ground and posted a video on social media with the caption: "Life is great!"
