Derrick Rose 'Seriously Re-Evaluating His Future in the NBA'

Cleveland Cavaliers Derrick Rose left drive against Atlanta Hawks Dennis Schroder, from Germany in the first half of an NBA basketball game in Cleveland. Rose has left the Cavaliers to attend to a persona

Cavaliers guard Derrick Rose has stepped away from the team, ESPN reports.

Once the league's MVP, Rose's career has been derailed by a litany of lower body injuries that has sapped his historic athleticism and put him in a near-perpetual state of recovery from injury.

According to the NBA insider, Rose is now away from the team and evaluating his future in basketball as he is "tired of being hurt".

Rose has been noncommunicative to multiple people close to him inside and outside the Cavaliers in recent days, league sources said.

Rose has missed 11 of 18 games this season, including the previous seven. He returned the following season to only play in 10 games before tearing the meniscus in his right knee. "I loved playing there even though we lost", Rose said in October.

Report claims Apple preparing updated iPhone SE for launch early next year
With it's all-screen design, OLED display, lack of home button and sensor array, it looks unlike any iPhone we've ever seen. The new iPhone SE 2 will be priced at close to $349, nearly half the going price for Apple's latest release, the iPhone X .

Wojnarowski pointed out Rose left the New York Knicks without permission for a day last season and was fined and eventually apologized. He admitted the Knicks didn't want him back. "But that's the first time I ever felt like that emotionally, and I had to be with my family". Tyronn Lue said he expects Rose to be back at some point, but did not say when.

He was placed in a walking boot last week when the ankle wasn't deemed to be healing sufficiently.

"Just a jacked-up ankle", Rose told ESPN at the time.

This year with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he's been able to play in just seven games and has been out recently with an ankle injury.

If he chooses to retire, Adidas will not have to pay out the remainder of the contract.
