Giants reinstate Janoris Jenkins from suspension after one game

Denver Broncos Brock Osweiler passes during the first half of an NFL football game against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday Nov. 5 2017 in Philadelphia

The Giants on Tuesday announced they have reinstated the cornerback from a brief suspension.

Jenkins was late returning to the team after the bye week, missing a day with an unexcused absence. It was the second such instance in which McAdoo suspended a player for violating team rules, having previously banned fellow cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for a week in late September.

Giants head coach Ben McAdoo was criticized following the Week 9 defeat, as the G-Men didn't appear to be giving their all as the game progressed. He later rescinded that statement and suspended the Pro Bowl cornerback. Still, he's struggled since losing wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall to season-ending injuries and could be on the verge of being benched after the team's 51-17 home loss Sunday to the Rams.

He has expressed support to the king and halted plans to invest in Iran in 2016, when Riyadh cut all ties with Tehran. Both are sons of the late King Abdullah, who ruled before his half-brother King Salman.

The Giants also re-acquired linebacker Deontae Skinner, who was waived earlier this season but was lost recently on the Oakland Raiders practice squad. Defensive end Jordan Williams and defensive back Tim Scott were waived, while linebacker Nigel Harris (ribs) was placed on injured reserve.

He has 24 tackles, six passes defended, an interception and forced fumble this season.
