Hope Solo says ex-FIFA president Sepp Blatter grabbed her inappropriately

Solo is a two-time gold winner at the Olympics and said she was left'in shock by the Fifa president's alleged grope

Hope Solo recently did so as well as she has accused ex-FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, of sexually assaulting her in 2013.

In an interview with Portuguese newspaper Expresso, Solo said she "had Sepp Blatter grab my ass" before going on stage with the Swiss to present the FIFA Women's Player of the Year award for 2012 to U.S. team-mate Abby Wambach.

"I had Sepp Blatter grab my ass", Solo said.

Solo was in attendance that night to present the Federation Internationale de Football Association women's world player of the year award to USWNT striker Abby Wambach.

"I was in shock and completely thrown off". She had to pull herself together quickly to give the award to Wambach.

"I'm actually very disappointed with the women who haven't spoken about it in the sports world ..." "It was at the Ballon d'Or, right before I went on stage".

Jay-Z Calls Meek Mill's Prison Sentence 'Unjust and Heavy Handed'
Mill is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation management company, so the entertainment mogul is invested in seeing Mills' career endure. In March, the ex-boyfriend of Nicki Minaj was charged with misdemeanor assault after an altercation with employees at St.

"I speak out directly [with people] when things like that happen".

"In the case of Sepp Blatter, I went on the stage, I was nervous for the presentation". After that I didn't see him and that was kind of bad.

"It's out of control, not just in Hollywood but everywhere", she added in reference to the firestorm of sexual harassment allegations in entertainment, politics and sport ever since the scandal involving Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein unfolded. Female players are pretty, if you excuse me for saying so, and they already have some different rules to men - such as playing with a lighter ball. It can happen all across the board, it can happen between women, it can happen anywhere.

Blatter, now 81, was banned by Federation Internationale de Football Association in 2015 after serving as president since 1998.

In a statement to the Guardian, a spokesman for Blatter said the incident never took place. He suggested in 2004 that female players could wear "tighter shorts" like "they do in volleyball." and in 2013, he called a female candidate for FIFA's executive committee "good, and good looking".

The veteran stopper ranks among the greatest players in USWNT history, winning two Olympic gold medals and the 2015 World Cup.
