About 17 years after Priyanka Chopra won the Miss World title, Manushi Chhillar created an nearly déjà vu moment when she sat on the chair to be crowned the Miss World 2017. The win comes 17 years after Priyanka Chopra brought home the coveted title in the year 2000.

Manushi did her schooling from Bengaluru and Delhi.

In question and answer round post getting the top five spot, Manushi was asked: "Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?"

Ms. Manushi is the sixth Indian to win the title and the first since Priyanka Chopra won the crown in 2000. She was also a part of Project Shakti where she treated and cured over 5000 plus women visiting 20 villages to spread the Campaign's goal of spreading consciousness about menstrual hygiene.
