North Korea is testing whether its missiles capable of hitting the USA are also capable of carrying the deadly bacteria anthrax, according to a report.

North Korea has a store of between 2,500 and 5,000 tons of chemical weapons, South Korea has previously said, adding that it was capable of producing biological agents like anthrax and smallpox.

North Korea is reportedly testing using anthrax on its missiles.

Although North Korea is party to both the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention and the Geneva Protocol, it is suspected of maintaining an ongoing biological weapons program.
