'The Office' In Talks To Make A Comeback In 2018

The Office

The "Office" revival would once again take place at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, and include some of the supporting cast from the original, coupled with new stars.

NBC is reportedly moving forward with plans to revive The Office for a late 2018 launch.

"We often talk about The Office", Greenblatt said.

TVLine comments that the search to find a new boss is underway, but no names have been floated as of yet.

'I've talked to Greg [Daniels] four times over the past few years, ' Bob said of the show's executive producer.

Geminids 2017: Can you still see them tonight?
The bright object could be seen from various parts of the metro, but most calls came from the west side of town. Its unusual orbit will see it pass closer to the sun than any other named asteroid.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is now on the hunt for "Michael Scott-like regional manager" of paper supply company Dunder Mifflin, in addition to a number of new faces. It followed the everyday lives of employees of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton Pennsylvania. Additionally, John Krasinski is now working with Amazon Studios for their new Jack Ryan series, so he too seems an unlikely returning cast member.

NBC's The Office itself was a remake of the British The Office, which ran for two series in the United Kingdom before the American remake debuted in 2005.

But so far, all we know is that NBC is taking the first steps to bringing the show back, no doubt encouraged by the critical and financial success of the revival of Will and Grace.

In addition to Carell and Wilson, the show also made stars out of John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms, Craig Robinson and Mindy Kaling, among others.
