Trump's Lawyer Denies Reports Mueller Subpoenaed Deutsche Bank Financial Records

Special counsel Robert Mueller's office spent $3.2 million during the first few months of his investigation into Russian election interference and possible coordination with associates of President Donald Trump.

"Deutsche Bank always cooperates with investigating authorities in all countries", the lender said in a statement to Bloomberg on Tuesday, declining to provide additional information. That's according to a copy of Mueller's report obtained by The Associated Press.

Mueller sought records from Deutsche Bank, a source familiar with the subpoena told ABC News.

Mueller is investigating alleged Russian attempts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election and potential collusion by Trump aides.

"The latest news supports our view that Mr. Mueller is too conflicted to investigate the FBI and should step down in favor of someone more credible", the newspaper said.

An internal investigation carried out by Deutsche Bank didn't yield any evidence of connections between the client relationship with Trump and the bank's mirror trades affair, a person briefed on the matter said. He said that they have confirmed it with the bank itself and "other sources".

'General framework' in place with both Giants, Cardinals on Stanton deal
Per MLBPipeline.com, those are the Giants' second-, third- and fourth-rated prospects , respectively. This story was not subject to the approval of Major League Baseball or its clubs.

"I think that's a violation", Mr. Trump told the paper.

Deutsche Bank has loaned the Trump organization an estimated $300 million for its real estate dealings prior to Donald Trump becoming president.

In June Deutsche Bank cited privacy laws when it rejected a request by House Democrats to provide details of Trump's finances. That figure includes a $170-million loan Trump took out to finish a hotel in Washington. He has announced criminal charges against four people so far, including Trump's former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

These reported conversations lead to questions about whether the president was trying to derail the FBI probe and end the investigation into Russian Federation and the 2016 election. In particular, Trump hailed the news that one of Mueller's aides had been removed from his job over the summer for some anti-Trump text messages.

President Trump's legal team confirms it is aware of media reports related to the subpoena, but there was no immediate comment from the White House or the president's attorneys.
