Alexis Sanchez to Liverpool: Ray Parlour backs Reds to sign Arsenal star

Wenger Denies Transfer Talks as Report Claims Man City & Arsenal Have Reached Agreement for Sanchez

Manchester City have made a fresh bid of £20million for Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez, according to a report by Fabrizio Romano and Ed Aarons of The Guardian.

At this point, £20 million is better than £0, and if you're of the mind that the odds they either finish in the top four of the league or win the Europa League are slim, cashing in on Alexis and admitting defeat is probably the best route to take.

Sanchez has made it clear that he wants to join up with Guardiola at City and ESPN FC has been told that Arsenal have chose to accept a transfer fee now rather than let him leave for free at the end of his contract.

However, if Arsenal are willing to sell their prized asset immediately, City are willing to spend an extra £20m to ensure the player joins this month.

SpaceX's Zuma mission may finally be ready to zoom into space
SpaceX now can look forward to its next major test for the year - launching its huge heavy-duty rocket for the first time ever. Aerospace and defense company Northrop Grumman was responsible for securing SpaceX's launch services for the Zuma mission.

Meanwhile, Sanchez has reportedly fallen out with his Arsenal teammates, which could have hastened Arsene Wenger's decision to allow him to leave.

The Gunners made a deadline-day attempt to sign the Frenchman last summer, but a deal was never agreed on account of Sanchez's proposed move to City falling through.

Now that it's the winter window, though, and Arsenal are getting half the fee they were going to originally get for Sanchez, it remains to be seen whether they'll be able to meet Monaco's £90 million pound evaluation of the french starlet. With Gabriel Jesus set to be sidelined for the next two months, Guardiola is wasting no time in shoring up his squad's depth.
