Roger Federer is aiming for his 20th Grand Slam singles title when he meets No. 6-seeded Marin Cilic in the Australian Open final.

Chung took an injury timeout when he was down 4-1 in the second set.

In a post to his personal Instagram page, the 21-year-old has shared a close-up photo of his injured foot, revealing a gaping red wound that looks more like a gunshot that a blister.

Hyeon Chung may have limped out of this year's Australian Open, but his upbeat mood made clear he firmly believes he'll be a contender at another major very soon.

World No.1 Rafael Nadal, six-time champion Novak Djokovic and former victor Stan Wawrinka succumbed to injuries, while five-time finalist Andy Murray didn't even get to the starting line.

Federer was detained for only 62 minutes under the Rod Laver Arena roof as he set up a final against Croatia's Marin Cilic who pummelled another young gun, Kyle Edmund, on Thursday.

The reverse was the case at Flushing Meadows two years later when Novak Djokovic claimed a thrilling semi-final comeback win over Federer before seeing off Nadal in the title decider.

"Unfortunately, with the blister wounds on his toes, I couldn't help crying earlier on", she said. Now it's redrawn. They tried injections to see if it numbed the pain. Because he has played so many matches in the row, I think that's why it was a buildup.

"I thought he was an incredible athlete and a very good ball-striker", Godwin said.

Game devs flock to Switch as interest in VR declines
Having polled almost 4,000 game developers, the GDC learned that 12% of them are now developing games for the Switch. Virtual reality, meanwhile, appears as though it may be in the initial stage of a popularity downturn.

"I don't think about I'm not going to play today".

"I enjoyed two weeks so far, on court and off court", he said.

You'd hope that with the finals next up the network has heard the voices of tennis fans and won't miss any more games due to excessive advertising.

"They would pay for his coach, they actually selected the coach, then obviously as he progressed it got to different levels and a different structure", said his agent at IMG, Stuart Duguid. I can see why he beat Novak (Djokovic) and Sasha (Zverev). "I'm just trying my best in the future.".

Federer, who entered the tournament as the odds-on favourite, is primed to capture a record Grand Slam title No. 20.

The host broadcaster has already been roasted for their painful bombardment of advertising throughout the Australian Open and things only got worse in the second men's semi. "I'm happy I'm still around, still healthy, still playing good, giving myself chances, playing the best".

"I really didn't know I'm going to make it in semis", Chung added.

With the defending champion having shown mere fleeting signs of nerves throughout the fortnight, Federer blasted his way to a 4-1 advantage in the opener.

'I'm excited to play against him, he's a great guy, we won the Laver Cup together and had a blast. "I'm incredibly happy to be in the finals, but not like this".
