West Ham's Moyes blasts Masuaku after red card for spitting

Will Grigg scores Wigan's second in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Premier League side West Ham

According to Claret and Hugh, West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan got confronted by some fans in the Wigan Athletic vehicle park on Saturday following the club's F.A Cup exit at the hands of the League One outfit.

The Hammers went on to lose the game 2-0 and were eliminated from the tournament, with manager David Moyes livid at the player's actions.

Even Masuaku's own manager in David Moyes has branded the defender's actions as "despicable".

While Masuaku's spit came as a reaction to Powell's challenge, his manager Moyes wasted no time in condemning the Frenchman's act.

Will stand.Arthur Masuaku has apologized for spitting at an opponent during West Ham's FA Cup defeat to Wigan. "I've not seen it from him".

Speaking to SkySports, he said: "Ultimately, Arthur, what he's done, was despicable".

"I want to say sorry for my actions on Saturday".

Trump condemns Kabul car bomb attack
This came after President Donald Trump said on twitter Saturday that "we will not allow the Taliban to win". The explosion happened in a busy part of the city where the High Peace Council has offices.

Masuaku is now scheduled to return when West Ham host Manchester United on March 18.

Spitting has always been seen as quite possibly the worst form of retaliation in a match, and Masuaku deserves all the punishment he gets.

"But I know it was totally unacceptable and I will learn from the first red card of my career".

Masuaku, who has featured across 19 league matches this season, would sit out their next Premier League outing, which is a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace (January 30).

Masuaku took to social media to apologize. "But Its hard to get the right players".

"We conceded early but I don't think that's a good enough excuse".
