Adam Lallana sent off for manhandling Spurs player during U23 game

Adam Lallana

Lallana is 29 years old, a full England worldwide, a former club captain (for Southampton) and a Liverpool first-team fixture.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana played for the Reds' U-23 squad against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday while rehabbing an injury.

Lallana was continuing his recovery from a thigh injury which has restricted him to just two first-team starts this season.

Lallana was, of course, sent off for the incident, which followed a 50-50 challenge for a header with 19-year-old George Marsh.

2 students shot inside LA school, student suspect arrested
On Friday morning, anxious parents accompanied their children to the school as classes resumed. The enrollment is 92 percent Latino, and most students are from low-income families.

A first team debut could be a couple of years away for the 18-year-old, but there will be better nights for the under-23s for him ahead.

And because life isn't fair and everything is bad, Lallana will be suspended for three games, but only applied to U23 matches, meaning Jurgen Klopp is free to select him for the Premier League should he desire. "From nil to 100 in a second, and that's maybe what caused the problem".

It's a game that the Reds need to win as the race for the top four is getting really tight.

The Reds ultimately lost the game 1-0, and were reduced to nine men, when George Johnson also seen red in the 87th minute. Jack Roles scored the only goal that night to help his side win the match.
