Airline agent named Miracle credited with saving 2 teens from human trafficking

American Airlines 737

The ticket taker, Denice Miracle, spotted the girls, ages 15 and 17, looking nervous at Sacramento International Airport on August 31, Miracle said in a statement released by American Airlines.

"Between the two of them, they had a bunch of small bags", Miracle said in an American Airlines statement.

"I think the way they kept looking back-and-forth at each other like they weren't really sure", Miracle said, "and then they were texting someone on the phone and that person was giving them answers". "This just doesn't feel right to me, '" Miracle told CNN. They believe the girls most certainly would have become victims.

Miracle noticed the ticket from Sacramento to NY was purchased online and the credit card had a different name. Deputies reunited the girls with their parents and explained they were likely victims of attempted sex trafficking.

The girls thought they were flying to NY for the weekend to model and perform in music videos.

The teenagers were returned home to their parents, who had no idea of their travel plans and believed they were both staying the night at a friend's house, according to WISTV.

'When I told them that they didn't have a flight home, that's when it kind of sunk in that maybe I was actually telling the truth, ' Sanderson added.

"In my opinion, what was going to happen was they were going to go back to NY and become victims of sex trafficking", Sanderson concluded.

West Brom players accused of stealing taxi in Spain

AN AMERICAN Airlines employee saved the lives of two teenage girls who about to become slaves.

"I'm proud of Denice and how she put her training into action to save these children", said Aleka Turner, American Airlines' Sacramento International Airport general manger, in the release. "I told a supervisor: 'I'm going to call the sheriff".

An airline employee noticed that the girls looked uncomfortable and something wasn't right before they got to security processing at Sacramento International Airport.

The teens told authorities they met a man on Instagram who called himself "Drey".

Sanderson asserts that Drey probably used photos of a different person and that the case would likely not be persecuted.

Most likely Drey did not use his own photos and would not likely be prosecuted outside California, but thanks to the awareness of the American Airlines agent, the girls were headed home with their parents from the airport and not headed to NY on a flight. There is no word on whether "Drey" has been caught by officials, or what charges he might face, KTRK reported.
