Pak violates ceasefire in Jammu & Kashmir

Indian envoy summoned after ceasefire violation across LoC

Refusing to mend its ways amid reports of worldwide terror watchdog FAFT putting it on the grey list, the Pakistan Army on Saturday again violated the ceasefire along the line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir by resorting to heavy firing. Many others have moved to safer places in nearby areas.

Pakistan army has shelled several border villages including Balkote, Silikote, Tilwari, Churnda, Hatlanga and other neighboring hamlets along the LoC villages.

Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Nasir Naqash confirmed hearing about the announcements from the Pakistan side. We are fighting back with our might and giving a response to Pakistan's firing.

"We have deputed ambulances and private vehicles to evacuate the residents who were still in the villages and rehabilitation process of these displaced people is going on".

The Uri administration has also submitted a proposal for 3000 bunkers in this sub division.

Officials said that a special camp has been set up a few kilometres away from the affected villages to house the displaced people.

Google specifically mentions that soon it will be able to identify specific dog breeds in photos, types of flowers, and more. Developers who have been building AR apps with it can now publish their work to the Google Play Store .

PoK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has directed the district machinery and local authorities in the areas located along LoC to make standby arrangements for relocating thousands of people whose lives have come under direct threat after the tension at the border.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has accused India of killing 12 people in the area.

Local said that it was the heaviest shelling by Pak troops since ceasefire agreed by India and Pakistan in 2003 on LoC and International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir.

This was the second attack in a row after a policeman was killed while guarding Charar-e-Sherief in the central Kashmir's Budgam district on Sunday afternoon.

The letter added that Indian forces have martyred 16 civilians in 2018 in continuous ceasefire violations. In 2017, Pakistan claims that India carried out 1970 CFVs along the LoC and border. The unprovoked firing and indiscriminate mortar shelling has damaged civil houses in the region.
