Haig says he sold Paddock 720 rounds of ammunition from Haig's home gun business. "The young man pointed at him 20 feet away, and I said, 'well, when he wants to, he'll come over.' Well, he never did come over", Haig said. On January 30, a judge unsealed records containing the name of a person of interest in the shooting, Douglas Haig.

Lombardo spoke to the number of shooters, saying, "I know and believe there was only one suspect who killed 58 people and injured hundreds more".

Larry Hatfield, a spokesman for the department, declined to comment on whether Mr. Haig was still considered a person of interest or whether he was the person the sheriff said remained under investigation.

The name of Paddock's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, was not redacted from documents released Tuesday in response to a public records lawsuit filed by media companies including AP and the Review-Journal.

Douglas Haig tells "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday he sold more than 700 rounds of ammunition to Paddock.

"If I had anything that would help further this or shed light or help explain why this wacko did what he did, I'd be more than happy to tell you."

It is not known when the final autopsy report for Paddock will be complete. An FBI spokeswoman told that outlet she could not immediately comment Tuesday.

A Las Vegas judge, at the urging of a coalition of news media organizations and over the objection of police, today ordered the release of sealed search warrant materials connected to the investigation of the largest mass shooting in modern US history.

Rebel group blamed for attacks on police in Colombia
Another version includes it being the revenge of bandits for police operations committed against drug trafficking in the city. President Juan Manuel Santos blasted the "cowardly attack" on Twitter.

In court documents to apply for search warrants nine days after the shooting, Las Vegas police said Haig "may have conspired with Stephen Paddock to commit murder with a deadly weapon", but Haig has denied the allegation.

The newspaper published the name online. A message on Specialized Military Ammunition's website says the business is "closed indefinitely". Usually folks that have bad intent, they say something wrong or they just imply that they're going to do something that's illegal or possibly against the law.

Authorities previously characterized Paddock as a gambler on a losing streak who was obsessed with cleanliness, may have been bipolar and was having difficulties with his live-in girlfriend.

Danley was in the Philippines at the time of the attack and is cooperating with investigators.

The gunman shot and killed himself before authorities reached him.

Belongings are scattered and left behind at the site of the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, October 3, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Coroner John Fudenberg also found that Stephen Paddock, the man who authorities say carried out the October 1 shooting, killed himself with a gunshot to the mouth.
