'Avengers' & Marvel Hero-Themed Areas Coming To Disney Parks Across The Globe

Avengers Marvel Disneyland

Share this article: Disney is building super-hero attractions worldwide, including at the Anaheim park. Today, Disney and Marvel formally announced plans for a Marvel-themed area that will be coming to Disney California Adventure, joining the already-open Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!

Guests will soon be invited to take part in Avengers and Marvel experiences at Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland. This summer Disneyland Paris is hosting the Marvel Summer of Super Heroes, a new live show featuring superheroes, special effects, and projections.

Everyone knew it was coming, and now three Disney Parks around the world are getting lands devoted to Marvel.

The blog says the super hero-themed land will "begin recruiting guests" at Disneyland in 2020 and will feature The Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man and the Avengers.

Disney acquired Marvel in 2009 and has been adding Marvel-themed attractions to some of its parks since.

MS governor signs 15-week abortion ban; clinic files suit
The law also requires doctors who perform abortions after 15 weeks to submit reports detailing the circumstances of each case. The law bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, down from a 20-week restriction already on Mississippi's books.

In California, the park will be built in the space now occupied by the "A Bug's Land" attraction, next to the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction. "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19 to make way for this new heroic experience; the rest of the land will close in late summer. That comes as no surprise; the Iron Man Experience at Hong Kong Disneyland is the park's most popular.

The super-hero attraction is expected to replace the "bug's land" area inspired by the 1998 Disney/Pixar film "A Bug's Life".

Marvel-themed areas will also be built in Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.

If you can't get enough of Marvel and you've always dreamed of living the superhero experience yourself, you'll soon have the chance at three Disney theme parks.

The new parks will include rides, attractions and experiences that center around heroes such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Wasp and Ant-Man, among many others.
