Bills OG Richie Incognito 'strongly considering' retirement

Peter King

Incognito was a key part of the Bills line last season - which also lost Eric Wood to retirement this offseason as well.

Buffalo Bills offensive guard Richie Incognito is "strongly considering" retirement, according to Sports Illustrated's Peter King.

Incognito told Carucci that his liver and kidneys are "shutting down", so his best option might be to walk away from football. It's just about doing what's right.

Neither Incognito nor the Bills responded a request for comment from ESPN.

Are the USA and China heading for a full-blown trade war?
China responded by saying it was ready to put import taxes on almost 40 percent of US products sent to China. Gao said comments from United States officials about ongoing talks about trade issues were incorrect.

The development comes a week after Incognito fired his agent, David Dunn, in a post on Twitter.

Incognito took a $1.675 million pay cut last month to remain with the Bills for the final season of a three-year contract he signed in 2016. He spoke to the Buffalo News about his decision to retire after 12 seasons in the league, citing medical issues as the primary reason. Most recently, Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue claimed that Incognito hurled "some weak racist slurs" his way during a playoff game in January, although Bills General Manager Brandon Beane described that as "a misunderstanding" and the two players subsequently "hugged it out" after Incognito said he apologized at the Pro Bowl. "It's time for me to go in a new direction".

Incognito began Tuesday with a series of vague tweets, which began with "Good morning, FOOTBALL!" You can read those tweets below.
