Antoine Griezmann gets autographs from France 1998 World Cup heroes

France travel to the World Cup on the back of a surprising 1-1 draw with the US in Lyon on Saturday night, but Griezmann reckons there's no need for his teammates to panic, and says their preparation for Australia starts now.

Griezmann is now valued at £200m, but will see his Atleti release clause half in price at the start of next month.

Catalunya Radio reported that Barca remain confident of signing Griezmann as coach Ernesto Valverde was reassured by the club's hierarchy over a meal last week that the forward would be part of his squad next season.

Griezmann, 27, is the subject of a tug-of-war between Barcelona and his current club, Atletico Madrid.

Griezmann has been dedicating a lot of time to his decision, and reports claim that he's turned to French teammates while preparing for the World Cup for advice. "In Spain some say that I stay at Atlético, others I leave and I'll say it before the first game begins".

China celebrates unity within Eurasian SCO bloc as G7 struggles with Trump
The next Modi-Xi meeting would take place in South Africa in July on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, he said. This will be India's first participation in the summit as a full-time member of the organisation.

After announcing a press conference for Tuesday afternoon, it seemed that he was set to announce where he will play next season, only to opt against it.

However, Griezmann disappointed plenty of football fans by saying: "I am very sorry, but today I am not going to give my decision". And Griezmann is one of them.

"There's no more pressure on me, I am relaxed, focused on the World Cup".

"If the club sign him, brilliant".

Should he make the switch, Griezmann would add further star power to an attack that already includes Messi, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.
