Exhaust-ing ordeal: Woman gets head stuck in tailpipe

Kaitlyn Strom was at the Winstock Country Music Festival in the town of Winsted on Friday when she chose to go where few people have gone before.

Kaitlyn Strom was attending the Winstock Music Festival in Winsted, near Minneapolis, and having fun with friends.

The McLeod County Sheriff's said they cited the 19-year-old for underage drinking after she was freed. So scary, right? In a video posted to Facebook, that later went viral, Kaitlyn can be seen sitting on the ground, unable to move, while authorities rush to her aid.

Minnesota firefighters use a power saw to free the girl who said she had wanted to see if her head would fit inside. The first time, she was able to get it out unassisted. So, I guess that's how she found herself in the exhaust pipe. Who knows this girl?

If Dierks Bentley's next country ditty is about getting one's head stuck in a tailpipe, you'll know where he took inspiration. "It did fit, but it didn't want to come back out".

She later posted a picture to Facebook holding the cut pipe, writing "Yeah I'm the tail pipe girl, whatchu know about it?"

She also identified the owner of the pickup truck, who now has to buy a new tailpipe: Tom Wold, of Darwin, Minn.

The fire chief told the news station it was actually the second time the woman had put her head in the diesel truck's tailpipe that day.
