Meghan and Harry attend Royal Ascot with the Queen

Samantha and Meghan Markle

For her first time at the race course, Meghan presented a trophy alongside her new husband to Frankie Dettori, for his triumph at the St. James's Palace stakes.

Meghan rode in the royal procession with Prince Harry and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

Also in attendance were Prince Charles and wife Camilla Parker Bowles as well as the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

Meghan showed a continuing allegiance to her wedding dress designer, wearing a white shirt dress by Givenchy designer Clare Waight Keller.

She may appear composed and blissfully happy in public, but behind closed doors sources claim Meghan Markle is extremely upset about her father speaking out about her relationship with Prince Harry.

Syria says US-led strike hits troops in east, USA denies
IS overran large swathes of Syria and neighboring Iraq in 2014, declaring a "caliphate" in areas they controlled. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that 40 pro-Assad regime fighters were killed in the strike.

It has now been reported that the Duchess of Sussex's dad was reportedly paid £7,500 for the tell-all interview. Markle made her debut appearance at the event in Ascot, Berkshire, UK, on Tuesday looking as glamorous as ever.

The crisp, white shirtwaist dress is yet another example of a minimalist Givenchy look of which she's clearly fond - her sleek and simple wedding dress being another - and the style harks back to another head-turning fashion choice.

She went for a monochrome look, with black shoes, belt and bag, and black trim on her Treacy hat.

Prince Harry wore top hat and tails, his name tag showing his royal title of the Duke of Sussex on his lapel. It's the first time Meghan has attended the annual event, which began in 1768.

Just a month before she exchanged vows with Harry, Meghan joined the royal to attend the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London, and wore a button-down white pinstripe dress by Altuzarra that we can not get enough of.

The couple married exactly a month ago during a ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle that merged tradition with modernity and diversity, and are rumoured to have slipped away for a honeymoon break a few weeks ago.
