Demi Lovato 'getting better' after reported overdose

The 38-year-old That 70s Show star, who dated Lovato for nearly six years until 2016, was spotted at the hospital on Wednesday, a day after her reported overdose, and again on Thursday. According to reports, Demi was unconscious when she was discovered at around 11.30 a.m. on July 24 and the 911 call was placed.

Earlier today, TMZ shared that Lovato is still in the hospital after suffering from complications from her overdose.

One source said, "She is under the care of medical experts and is expected to make a full recovery".

The singer's overdose was reportedly so severe that her life was "in jeopardy", the publication adds. Lovato and those who were at the house refused to disclose the drug or drugs that caused her to overdose.

Since her teenage years, Lovato has struggled with a drug and alcohol addiction, resulting in a 2011 stint in rehab and then time spent in a sober living facility.

Kevin Durant & CJ McCollum Trade Shots on Twitter
When I'm on my phone in the middle and in between practices, of course, I'm going to respond. Durant: "I like y'all two ( McCollum and Damian Lillard ), you are hard to stop.

Speaking of her ex Wilmer Valderrama, who rushed to the hospital following the incident, the source said: 'Wilmer is one of the only people who has been around her, besides her mum'. Anything could happen to the brain in an overdose, and in Demi's case, her ability to sing could be lost.' Oh no! Now reports say she has suffered "complications".

The singer previously went to rehab when she was 18.

"This time, Demi didn't listen and Phil chose to part ways with her", the source added.

The dispatcher told the woman this was outside his control, and that "this is definitely a medical emergency for her". "However, it took her manager, Phil McIntyre, and others saying they'd walk away from her if she didn't get the help to convince her".
