Trump mocks #MeToo, calls senator 'Pocahontas' during campaign stop

Sen. Jon Tester speaks at a hearing on Capitol Hill in 2016

President Donald Trump lobbed personal and derogatory attacks at two Democratic senators, mocked the #MeToo movement and vouched for President Vladimir Putin of Russian Federation on Thursday during a freewheeling, raucous rally ostensibly meant to solidify support for Montana's Republican Senate candidate.

President Donald Trump declared it was “time to retire” U.S. Sen Jon Tester on Thursday as he campaigned in Montana against the lawmaker he blames for derailing his nominee to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Said Trump: "Let's say I'm debating Pocahontas".

Warren, however, was quick to fire back at the president, taking to Twitter tell Trump that "maybe you should focus on fixing the lives you're destroying", while turning the focus toward the ongoing controversy playing out on the Southern border following the Trump administration's zero tolerance immigration policy.

Mr. Trump's rally came just after EPA administrator Pruitt resigned Thursday.

Trump's comments at Thursday's rally mark the first time the president has spoken out about the #MeToo movement.

As the crowd cheered and pounded on the bleachers during the roughly 70-minute speech, Trump embellished on his favourite exaggerations and falsehoods, including his margin of victory in the Electoral College, the country's trade deficits and crowd size. Rosendale said hell back Trumps agenda, while Tester said hell support the president when its in the states interests and oppose him when its not.

"If you tune in Monday at 9 o'clock [Eastern time], I think you're going to be extremely happy with the selection", he told the Montana crowd.

Trump lawyer Cohen vows to defend himself, puts family first
The FBI seized roughly 4 million documents from the lawyer in April raids on his home, office, and hotel room. Stephanopoulos billed the unusual interview as a one-on-one exclusive, but Cohen was not talking to him.

Trump and Warren, a progressive stronghold in the Senate, have clashed bitterly before, most notably during the 2016 election cycle when he frequently called her "Pocahontas" in a jab at her heritage.

"Jon Tester said things about him that were terrible and that weren't true", Trump said.

We are never surprised when Donald Trump says whatever crosses his mind and disregards everything and this time was no different.

"I'll see what Trump has to say and how he delivers his magic words", Hegle said. "And the problem when this president is out at an event and he goes off teleprompter - I pray this was not on the teleprompter - when he goes off prompter, he becomes out of touch".

"If you want to protect your families and your community, then you have no choice", Trump said. "They really do. And they don't know who they're playing with, folks", Trump said. "You deserve a senator who actually votes like he's from Montana", Trump said. "And it's great to be here tonight with thousands of proud, hardworking American patriots, thank you", Trump said, addressing the crowd. Jon Tester, who is running for reelection. I have a feeling she will say no.

"Tester doesn't share your values", Mr. Trump said. Jon Tester, one of a string of Senate Democrats facing tough re-election races in states Trump won with thumping majorities two years ago.

"Getting along with Russia.is a good thing".
